Vern and Fred; the gamers
This is a story of two (literally) old friends, named Vern and Fred. They meet every time the planets align to play video games. They are currently playing Troll-Buster 3, the video game they played when they were children. It brings back good memories of the Ye Olden Times. Fred is a lawyer and is very intent on playing fairly. Vern is a pub-owner who just wants a fun time and doesn't care about playing fairly which causes problems. They both love to argue. The next time they play will be in the year 3012, if their wives will let them.
